Tenda WirelessRouter Setup

 

How to set up the Tenda Wireless Router for Broadband ADSL with SAOL.com

 

  • Open Internet Explorer and type in the address bar 192.168.0.1 and press enter.

  • Enter the Username and Password in the login box.
  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin

  • Select PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) and then click Next.

  • Now enter your Username and password supplied by SAOL for your account and click Next.

  • Now click Next.

  • Now click on Save/Reboot. This will save your settings and reboot your router.

  • Then click on WLAN and then Basic. You can change your SSID to a name that your want or leave it as Tenda(which is default) Then click on Save/Apply.

  • Select Network Authentication to WPA-PSK and enter a password that should be more than 8 characters
    Long. Now click on Save/Apply and this should  save your settings.

  • If you have an Unshaped account, your login is "your_username@uns.saol.com."

  • If you have a bundle account (138 special), your login is "your_username@ipc.saol.com".
