Mecer WirelessRouter Setup

 

How to set up the Mecer Wireless Router for Broadband ADSL with SAOL.com

 

  • Open Internet Explorer and type in the address bar 192.168.1.1 and press enter.

  • Enter the Username and Password in the login box.
  • Username: admin
  • Password: trendchip
  • This will bring you to the setup page, click on "Interface" which will bring you to the configuration page.
  • Enter the settings that are displayed below.

  • PVC:0
  • VPI: 8
  • VCI: 35
  • Enter your username and password that was supplied by SAOL.com
  • Click "Save" when done.
  • Thereafter click on "Wireless".

 

 

  • Enter the name of your network in the SSID block.
  • Click on Autentication type.
  • Choose WPA-PSK.
  • Enter your pre-shared key from 8 to 64 characters.
  • Click "Save".
  • Then click on "Maintenance" and then "SysRestart".
  • Restart with "Current Settings".

 

  • If you have an All-in-1 account, your login is "Your Username@allin1.saol.com"
  • If you have a bundle account (R138 special), your login is "Your Username@ipc.saol.com"
  • If you have a Turbo account, your login is "Your Username@turbo.saol.com"
