Mecer Router Setup

 

How to set up the Mecer Router for Broadband ADSL with SAOL.com

 

  • Open Internet Explorer and type in the address bar 192.168.1.1 and press enter.

  • Enter the Username and Password in the login box.
  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin
  • This will bring you to the setup page, click on "Quick Configuration" which will bring you to the configuration page.
  • Enter the settings that are displayed below.

  • ATM Interface: 0
  • VPI: 8
  • VCI: 35
  • Enter your username and password that was supplied by SAOL.com
  • Click "Submit" when done.
  • Thereafter click on "Admin".
  • Click on "Commit & Reboot".
  • Scroll to the bottom and click "Commit".
  • You can now restart your router.

 

  • If you have an All-in-1 account, your login is "Your Username@allin1.saol.com"
  • If you have a bundle account (R138 special), your login is "Your Username@ipc.saol.com"
  • If you have a Turbo account, your login is "Your Username@turbo.saol.com"
